The Richard Lange Jumping Seconds watch was unveiled in a platinum version in 2016. This year, A. Lange & Söhne has followed it up by a second version in pink gold. Limited to 100 pieces, the watch has a unique combination of a jumping second, constant-force escapement and zero-reset mechanism and a prominent regulator dial layout.
Richard Lange Jumping Seconds
Second to none
With a focus on the smallest of the three time measurement units, the watch has a blued seconds hand which moves gracefully along the upper and largest circle of the puristic regulator dial. The function of the constant-force escapement can be seen through the sapphire-crystal caseback. It delivers the switching impulse for the seconds jump and assures constant power delivery for the entire power reserve of 42 hours.
The zero-reset mechanism ensures that the watch is conveniently and precisely synchronised with a time signal. An innovative multi-disc clutch reliably stabilises the large seconds hand. The watch is powered by the Lange manufacture calibre L094.1.
A hand-stitched alligator leather strap in reddish-brown completes the look of the timepiece.
