If you’re a Seiko lover and ever in Melbourne, Shop T1, 264-274 Little Collins Street is officially the place to be. A few days ago, Seiko celebrated the opening of their newest boutique in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, making it their second boutique after Sydney. This venture continues to showcase Seiko’s progressive philosophy of presenting paramount design, quality and precision in each new project brought to the Australian timepiece market.
In case you’re wondering, this isn’t just any boutique, but a showcase of the Japanese manufacturers quality products such as Credor, Eichi, Grand Seiko, Prospex, Presage, Astron etc. You’ll pretty much find everything here. The boutique itself has a very contemporary feel to it, representing the brand’s pursuit of luxury and innovation.
The evening kicked off with cocktails and canapes at Glamp Cocktail Bar followed by an introductory speech by the MC and a lucky draw being Seiko’s all new Presage Cocktail time, a collection inspired by the glamour of the cocktail bar. Guests were then escorted to the boutique where Consul-General of Japan, Kazuyoshi Matsunaga, and Toru Koizumi, Managing Director of Seiko Australia cut the ribbon and announced the official opening of the boutique.
