On Thursday December 6 , Breguet and Monards introduced the exclusive Australian launch of the “Classic Tour” to celebrate the art of craftsmanship alongside the Breguet Classique Collection. In a stylish venue reminding of a gentleman’s club and nestled in the heart of Melbourne, Breguet gathered an elegant crowd for a cocktail evening to showcase the work of some of Australia’s highest skilled artisans and artists. Four prestigious names from the country took part in the evening to showcase their art. A barber, a bespoke shoe-maker and a tailor displayed their expertise and engaged with the guests whilst a watchmaker introduced the audience to some of the secrets held behind the dial of a timepiece.
The Classique collection exemplifies the watchmaking ideals of precision, clarity and elegant lines. Whether extra-thin models or complicated watches, they are all true to the technical principles, the artistry and the traditional values of the Breguet watch. The models within the collection are a magnificent distillation of the attributes distinguishing the House of Breguet, whose innate refinement has been inspiring gentlemen in search of pure elegance since 1775.
