Since 2012, Hublot has been the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the Juventus Football Club; a result of Hublot’s watchmaking expertise and symbol of the values shared with Juventus. This 2018, Hublot writes a new chapter in its partnership with the Old Lady of Italian football with the creation of a new limited edition Classic Fusion Chronograph Juventus, the third timepiece it has dedicated to one of the most prestigious teams in the world. The watch was unveiled at the prestigious Gianni and Umberto Agnelli Club of the Allianz Stadium in Turin. Also present at the unveiling were Miralem Pjanic and Paulo Dybala, two players from the first team.
“I’m very excited to be here, at Juventus, to celebrate the renewal of a collaboration we are proud of. Today we present the umpteenth result of the partnership with one of the most famous club in the world, the new Classic Fusion Chronograph Juventus, the third watch that we proudly wear in black&white. A new symbol of passion, energy and constant research to overcome limits. Hublot loves Juventus, Hublot Loves Football! “, said Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO Hublot
“We are so proud to announce the renewal of the partnership with Hublot for another three seasons. There are so many victories that we celebrated together and we are sure that the passion we put into our work every day, both on and off the pitch, will make the difference in the future, thanks to the constant attention to details and the improvement sought through the study it is possible to make seemingly simple complex movements and gears. Hublot has been with us during so many events over the past six years and we are happy to continue traveling this adventure together” added Giorgio Ricci, Co Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Global Partnerships and Corporate Revenues of Juventus.
This year Hublot has taken this new 200 piece limited edition a notch higher with its 45mm polished satin black ceramic case and bezel with black ceramic base that houses the carbon fibre, marked by 6 titanium screws in the shape of an H. The symbol of the current holder of the Champions of Italy title – the 35th – is engraved on the back of the watch and is also clearly visible on the dial, and on the seconds counter set at 3 o’ clock. Powered by the HUB1143 self-winding chronograph movement, the watch has a power reserve of 42 hours.
The sweep second hand is also available in yellow, the colour of the shirt the team wears away from home. Fans of Juve are gonna love the strap (black alligator stitched on white rubber) and of course that Juventus shirt autographed by one of the stars of the team, that the watch is sold with.
