Today, Jaeger-LeCoultre will unveil two new interpretations of its much loved Rendez-Vous timepiece. A collection that never fails to enchant its wearers and fans alike, this year the Rendez-Vous Moon presents an entirely reworked moon phase that showcases the extensive expertise of the Grande Maison’s Rare Handcrafts “Métiers Rares®”.
The two new versions (Pink Gold and Steel) are each powered by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s in-house caliber 925A automatic movement, featuring a 40-hour power reserve. The silvered guilloché dial, the hands, the collection’s signature floral numerals, and the chatons highlight the hours to reveal discreet and sophisticated elegance.
Complementing the overall silvery white theme are 60 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and 47 smaller diamonds on the watch’s inner dial weighing 0.7 carats. The textured effect of the guilloché dial completes the harmonious marriage of materials and precious stones.
In a disc at 6 o’clock, a delicately polished moon cycles through its phases against a lacquered blue starry sky, enhanced to stunning effect by the sea of clouds that carry it. When full, the round and radiant moon serves as a light-hearted reminder that the circle still reigns supreme as the predominant geometric shape in the Rendez-Vous collection.
