The sleek black Grand Feu enamel dial depicts the entire moon cycle, from new moon to the last quarter, in a feat of artistic and technical brilliance. The brand’s signature figure of 8 double dial features an applied satin finish ring, 18k red gold star appliques and a 22K gold moon on a black onyx moon disk. The watch pays tribute to the celestial dance between the Sun and the Earth and the Earth and the Moon.
The exquisite self-winding mechanical movement, visible through the case back uses silicon, which is resistant to friction and corrosion, making the moon phase complication in this timepiece a unique ‘true’ moon which requires correction only once in every 122 years. The date and moon phase at 6 o’clock can be set using a corrector set at 8 o’clock.
