For years now, Longines’ HydroConquest collection has caused quite a splash amongst those who are drawn to the open sea. Building on its expertise in the world of aquatic sports, Longines is introducing a new all-black ceramic version of its HydroConquest timepiece.
The 43mm watch is entirely made from black ceramic whose dial proudly displays its chemical composition: ZrO2. Highly technical and scratch-resistant, Zirconium Dioxide, is stronger than most ceramics, out there. The bezel is embellished with a coloured ceramic insert, which gives the new HydroConquest a new kind of brilliance. Set inside the round case is a super sleek matt black dial that features a neat date window at three o’clock, applied Arabic numerals and indexes and rhodium-plated hands adorned with SuperLuminova. The black rubber strap with double security folding clasp fits in the broader theme.
Running on an L888.3 self-winding mechanical movement, developed exclusively for Longines, this three-hand calendar watch offers a power reserve of 64 hours and 300m of water resistance.
With its strong identity and highly distinguished lines, this all-ceramic version will find its rightful place on the wrists of aquatic sports lovers who seek to combine performance and elegance.
