Longines always churns out fantastic new interpretations of its modernly designed dive watch, HydroConquest, while maintaining its timeless style. Today the winged hourglass brand, introduces another striking hue to add to its eclectic range of blues, greys and blacks. Meet the new Longines HydroConquest in Green.
These new interpretations really stand out among the different versions currently being offered in the collection. Set in a 41mm or 43mm stainless steel round case is a gorgeous green vertical brushed ceramic dial or matt khaki green dial that features a neat date window at three o’clock, large Arabic numerals and indexes and rhodium-plated hands adorned with SuperLuminova. Considering we’re now in dive watch territory, the HydroConquest also conquers another feat in terms of durability: water resistance, which sits at 300m.
L3.781.4.06.6/9 and L3.782.4.06.6/9 are the two khaki versions that come with a unidirectional rotating bezel with green ceramic insert that matches the colour of the dial, so gracefully. Not much has changed on the movement front. Inside the watch is an L888.3 self-winding mechanical movement, based on the ETA A31-L01, offering a power reserve of 64 hours. Mounted on a stainless steel or green rubber strap, this version is available in two sizes – 41mm and 43mm.
The 41mm green vertical brushed ceramic dial version (L3.785.4.06.6) is a ‘Boutique Edition’ and runs on an L888.5 Calibre with a silicon balance spring, designed exclusively for Longines. This version comes with an interchangeable stainless steel bracelet and green rubber strap that can be swapped with ease (with no tools are required), thanks to the easy change mechanism.
