The new Seamaster 300 Malachite is by far one of the flashiest introductions from Omega this year.
The highlight here is without a doubt, the Malachite dial. Sourced all the way from South Africa, the decorative stone malachite offers a wide range of green tones, harmoniously distributed in concentric areas. The facetted hands on the dial are made from 18K yellow gold and are filled with “vintage” Super-LumiNova.
In wonderful balance with the malachite dial, OMEGA has crafted the 41 mm case of this timepiece in 18K yellow gold. The same material is used for the facetted hands as well as the bezel – with its polished ceramic ring and OMEGA Ceragold diving scale. Covering the dial is a domed, scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
The new Omega Seamaster 300 Malachite Dial is presented on a green leather strap and is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8913. The movement has been officially certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) and is visible through the transparent case back.
