Extraordinary, elegant and full of surprises, OMEGA presents the new Seamaster Diver 300M Limited Edition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of James Bond’s movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969)”. With a unique blend of blacks, golds, whites and reds, and a few added extra’s that call out to the film, this new edition is difficult not to like.
Limited to 7,007 pieces, the 42mm Seamaster Diver 300M is constructed in stainless steel and features a black ceramic bezel with a white enamel diving scale. The black PVD on black ceramic dial with a spiral-brushed gun barrel design and 9mm bullet head at the centre, takes the watch to a whole new level, making it more bond than ever. On the side of the case, OMEGA has placed an 18K yellow gold plate engraved with each unique Limited Edition number.
The black ceramic dial works beautifully against the 18K yellow gold raised indexes filled with SuperLuminova and the subtly reshaped skeleton hands. As a special tribute to James Bond’s heritage, OMEGA has placed the spy’s family coat-of-arms in 18k Yellow Gold on the 12 o clock hour marker. Another welcome surprise is the secret number 50 which is hidden in the luminescent material of the 10 o’clock hour-marker (a reference to the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”). The number 7 on the date disc has been produced in the legendary 007 font, so on the 7th day of each month, wearers will be rewarded with a unique James Bond reminder.
The innovation continues inside the watch, thanks to the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800. With impressive precision, performance and magnetic-resistance of 15,000 gauss, it allows the timepiece to be certified at the industry’s highest standard. The watch clocks in a power reserve of 55 hours, without having to be worn, for the bidirectional self-winding rotor to do its work. On the inner side of the sapphire crystal caseback, you’ll find the Bond family coat-of-arms metallised in gold and black.
Presented on a black rubber strap, OMEGA’s new Bond watch is Master Chronometer certified and housed in a stylish black box with gun barrel patterns and bullet head buttons.
