Since it was re-introduced in 2006, the coveted and esteemed ‘Tête de Vipère’ guarantee has been awarded to only 500 watches. One of TAG Heuer’s new novelties introduced at Baselworld 2018, the ‘Tête de Vipère’ Chronograph Tourbillon Chronometer is the latest recipient of this horological honour.

The ‘Tête de Vipère’ stamp certifies not just the movement of a particular timepiece, but the watch as a whole. Each assembled piece is subjected to a rigorous protocol which involves 16-days of testing before receiving the stamp.
The Carrera ‘Tête de Vipère’ Chronograph Tourbillon Chronometer combines two of the most popular complications of fine watchmaking. This contemporary watch has both, a tourbillon and a chronograph brought together in a strikingly modern, chic design. The ‘Tête de Vipère’ Viper’s Head stamp is engraved on tourbillon bridge and is visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
Black and Blue
The Carrera ‘Tête de Vipère’ Chronograph Tourbillon Chronometer has a 45mm case crafted in a midnight blue ceramic, with a ceramic bezel and lugs. The blue is offset with the gleam of black PVD coated steel used for the crown and a sapphire case back.
To complement the blue case, the Carrera ‘Tête de Vipère’ Chronograph Tourbillon Chronometer has a black skeleton dial with a rhodium-plated Chronograph minute counter at 3 o’clock and Chronograph hour counter at 9 o’clock. The tourbillon at 6 o’clock is in a brilliant blue.
The black and blue pairing continues with the matte black alligator leather strap which is sewn on to black rubber with blue stitching.
Superlative horological performance, watchmaking precision and an appealing design aesthetic that is completely in tune with the brands signature sporty look. The 155-piece limited TAG Heuer Carrera ‘Tête de Vipère’ Chronograph Tourbillon Chronometer is a piece you just have to see in the metal!
