When it comes to high precision diving watches, OMEGA is one brand that has always proved its mettle. With a passion to create something new and spectacular every time, at Time To Move 2019 , OMEGA unveiled the new Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph 215.32.46.51.99.001

It was with OMEGA’s maritime legacy in mind that the brand first launched its Planet Ocean line in 2005. Today, the stylish models continue to pay homage to OMEGA’s dive watch heritage.

An absolute treat to look at, the 45.5mm stainless steel model comes with a splash of orange, white, grey and titanium. It’s this flamboyant personality that sets the watch apart from a lot of the other dive watches in the market today.

The first thing you’ll notice is the ceramised titanium dial. While titanium is quite a neutral colour, the orange accents give it a sporty modern twist. Neatly organised on the dial is a small seconds counter and date window at 6 o clock, as well as a 60-minute and 12-hour counter at the 3 o’clock position.

The watch supports a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel in Orange, with its diving scale filled with liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova. Orange ceramic is also used in the rings of the chronograph pushers which are located at 2 and 4 o’clock. The screw down crown sits at 3 o clock.

Other features include an alveol screw-in caseback and a stunning 5-stripe orange, grey and white polyamide NATO strap with a polished buckle and strap keepers in stainless steel.

Needless to say, the new Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph 215.32.46.51.99.001 is remarkable underwater. With a water resistance of 600 metres / 2000 feet / 60 bar, it is one of the best diving watches for its price range. OMEGA has also fitted a helium-escape valve at the 10 o clock position which makes it a great investment for professional deep sea divers.

At the heart of this timepiece, is a METAS certified Self-winding chronograph Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 9900 with a power reserve of 60 hours.
